Baby Ryland

Our friends Chad and Kelly had their baby, Ryland David, last month. What a pumpkin!

Abby has already become quite the nurturer. She says, "there there Ryland, don't cry."

It's another girl!!!

YAY! My sister is having a girl:)

another update

I was able to visit my dad today and he is definitely doing better each day. There is no longer any fluid in his lungs. He still has an infection, which they are watching very closely. He is moving around more and continuing physical therapy. After listening to his heart, the doctor said it was in excellent condition! The amount of pain he's been in has decreased significantly and he is really ready to go home. The doctors say Friday, but aren't making any promises. Please pray for the Lord to bring him comfort and peace as he endures these next few days in the hospital. Also, for wonderful healing, so he can go home on Friday. Thanks again, to all of you who are faithfully praying. We can see God at work, it's been amazing.

Amazing Things Are Happening Here

My brother texted me this image the night of my dad's surgery. It is a sign hanging outside the hospital. "AMAZING THINGS ARE HAPPENING HERE" It was really cool because God is definitely doing AMAZING things. My mom and sister have been at the hospital with dad since Wednesday. They have been keeping the rest of us updated and say he is really doing well today. They have been getting him up and moving around for physical therapy and he seems to be in a little less pain each day. He has some sort of infection, but is responding well to antibiotics. He also has fluid in his lungs, so they are keeping a close watch on him and he won't be in a "normal" room till that clears up. Those are just a few things you can continue to pray for.

This image was a lot better in person. It was a beautiful sunset and the NY skyline just happened to be there. If I wasn't in a moving car going across a bridge I probably would have made Brian stop for a better shot. Another glimpse of God's glory coming home from the hospital.
