It's true...

You really can learn a lot about someone by the way they squeeze their toothpaste. :)

The photography major vs. the math/psychology major

This morning I grabbed my toothpaste and quickly realized it wasn't mine. Easy to see how this could happen, they are both the same brand, but my tube has an ergonomic feel I construct every time the tube is nearing empty. Brian's is perfectly squeezed from the bottom up, pushing all of the paste towards the top. Even though we have discussed this issue before, who's way is the "right" way. I found myself having a revelation about our marriage today in the bathroom. We have many differences, such as how we squeeze our toothpaste. Those are the very reasons I married this man and they are why I love him so much. What fun would marriage be if we both squeezed our original, boring, Crest toothpaste the same way?

Praise the LORD!

I just felt the urge to make a public statement that I am in Love with JESUS! I'm so thankful to be living for Him today!

There... that felt good :)

Life Will Never Be the Same

Well after months and months of waiting, it finally happened. Abby is officially on the move. This morning was the first time she officially crawled. I have a feeling life will never quite be the same again. It's amazing how quickly things change. I feel like I'm part of a Nationwide Insurance ad. :) As far as Abby crawling goes though, be thankful that Rachel captured it on video for you. Enjoy!!

Welcome to the world, Ashley!!

We are officially Aunt, Uncle and Cousin!!
Esther and Ashley are doing very well, both tired, but they did a great job. It was an honor to be there for the birth and witness such a miracle. Truly a highlight in my life!

Dreaming of warmer weather...

This is what gets you through those cold, winter days when spring seems so far away. Looking forward to our cruise this summer!

Anyone out there with a green thumb?

Our palm tree needs help. My sister gave us this beautiful plant for our first anniversary and it thrived in the sunroom of our previous home. Now it is dying a slow death and I have no idea what to do. I have repotted it, put as much light on it that I can, water it just as much as I did before, but no such luck. I didn't realize how bad it was until I ran across an old photo I took of Joey. It made me sad. I'm not sure what the lifespan is on these kind of plants, but for this one it's not looking too good.
