Cookie decorating.

Last night we had a our friend, Natalie, (who was home for the Holidays) over. We decorated cookies and ended up laughing more than anything else. Who knew cookie decorating could be so much fun?

Happy Christmas Days

We never got around to dressing the girls up and taking their pictures. Both of them ended up getting colds. Rob, Esther and Ashely drove from CT to NC yesterday to visit the Johnsons. After not much sleep last night, they took Ashley to the doctor and discovered an ear infection in both ears and the possibility of pneumonia. We did, however, enjoy being together. I haven't mentioned yet that both my sister, Esther, and my brother's wife, Jessica, are pregnant! Esther is due on Abby's Birthday (5.19) and Jess is due 6.21. We are very excited for the family to keep expanding. Abby is in love with Sesame Street particularly, Elmo, Ernie and Cookie. Needless to say, just about every gift had something to do with Elmo.

Snowed in with Ashley

Ashley and Esther are here. Ashley came over to play on Thursday while her mommy worked in the city. Abby needed a bath and Ashley looked like she wanted to jump in too. Went for a ride in Abby's new wagon from Grandma and Grandpa Henderson. They are on their way up to see us too. Hopefully they will make it here in the snow storm. It's coming down fast!! Looks like we'll have a white Christmas!!

Abby peed on her potty tonight!

Hey Baby!

Don't really have much to blog about lately. We are laying low and trying to stay relaxed during this time of year. We are really looking forward to next weekend when Brian's parent's and my sister and her family will be coming to visit. I think I'm most excited to see Ashley, wrap my arms around her and give her enough kisses to make up for the past four months I haven't seen her.

Here is a photo of Abby's first Friendly's experience. We decided to go there with friends after the Sunday night service. It was a real treat for Abby to be up way past her bedtime and eat ice cream too! Brian and I got a lot of good laughs out of her completely diving into her dessert and then wiping her chocolaty hands all over us. If you're gonna have ice cream you might as well go all out. Oh yeah, her new favorite phrase is, "hey baaaby". She was cracking us up tilting her head to the side as she said it. The other night Brian came in the door with Joey and she greeted him with "hi baaaaby!". It was hilarious.
