Saturday night

I guess since we've been so busy with the photo business our family blog has gotten the shaft. So tonight at 9:22pm, with baseball on tv, Brian and Joey sawing logs on the couch, Abby in bed and me catching up on random e-mails and facebook messages... I've decided to blow the dust off the little cam and see what I have to update you as far as personal life goes.
Today, I had a serious talk with God (not that any of my prayers aren't serious) about me getting some much needed sleep. I felt guilty for taking a nap at 1:30 in the afternoon while the most gorgeous, perfect weather was gleaming outside. The trees are almost at peak and it's absolutely breathtaking. Then I woke up at 5:00pm, Abby was STILL sleeping and Brian was out cleaning the cars. You couldn't evening imagine what was growing in both of our cars, they were sooooooo dirty. What an amazing husband I have for doing that! Anyway, I woke up and realized how desperate my body was for sleep, the only time I woke up was when I heard Brian rummaging though his change can for quarters for the vacuum machine at the car wash. I praised God over and over and over for the sleep. Oh it's was so nice!
Now that I'm seeing the pictures I have taken of our family this past week, it's not too exciting. But if you are reading this still you must love us enough to be curious...

Lately, we have been skimming the fat off our budget and so I have broken down and let Brian buy Hamburger Helper for himself because it's only $2.00. I'm absolutely grossed out by it and make him promise he will never feed it to Abby, even though he has already cheated. The other night it was bubbling and I felt the need to get a picture. Even Brian thought it looked gross.

We laughed at what the box said, "one pound. one pan. one happy family." Sounds like a recipe for a night in the bathroom. Looks like one too!

Something a little more interesting. Last weekend Abby had her first ride on a merry-go-round with Uncle Tim. She liked it at first.

But because it was nap time and I was even getting a headache just watching it go round and round forever, she had enough. Screaming - mommy!

That horse looks like he is ready to bite somebody. It was good talking to you tonight.

I totally feel you on the hamburger helper. I hate it but Luke loves it. He's snuck it in the grocery cart a couple of times. Ugh! One time, I made him go back in the store and return it.
