Insight in our lives...

Today I have been inside enjoying my time with "Abs of steal" (that's what my sister calls her). Speaking of my sister, her baby was due on Monday. We are all waiting anxiously for that phone call thinking Ashley will be coming any moment. Esther has been the most positive pregnant woman I know. I don't think I have heard her complain once during her pregnancy, except for the smell of curry and Chinese food (who can blame her?). I know when I was only five days overdue I felt like it was torture. Her doctor wanted to induce her this Sunday (tomorrow) if the baby didn't come yet and Esther talked her doctor out of it. She says she feels great and doesn't know what pregnant women make such a big deal about. Kudos to you Esther!!! She has already told me she would be my surrogate mother if I ever needed one. What a wonderful sister. Ugh, maybe I should have her put that in writing before she goes into the labor ;) Last I heard, her next option is to be induced on the 29th. We're hoping it's before that, so they won't have a leap year baby!
Yesterday it snowed a lot. This is the biggest snow storm we have had this season. Brian and I had cabin fever since we were both home from work. I can't remember the last time we were both home all day together. It was quite interesting. Today he is out enjoying God's beautiful creation, skiing with some of the youth group kids and my brother.

This is the view from our front door and that's the pool straight ahead.

The hat and bib seem to be important, but the socks, not so much.

Abby's toys are taking over the house and the dog is taking over the furniture.

pretty cool

One of the students from Brian's youth group decided to draw a picture of Abby from a photo. We thought it was really nice and wanted to share with you.

Happy Valentine's Day, love Abby

So many beautiful dresses from GG Mary, which one to wear?
Uncle Tim calls this one my clubbing dress.

We played dress up today and I had a lot of fun.

Party shoes and everything!

Maybe one day (if I have daddy's music skills) I will play a real grand piano.

Some random shots of me eating Cheerios because my mommy is obsessed with taking pictures.

The Office - Episode 2

Well me and some of my esteemed co-workers finished our latest installment of our spoof on The Office. I personally think it's better than the last one we did, but I'll let you decide. Hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed filming it!!

My Beautiful Sister!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some photos of my gorgeous older sister! She is getting ready to have her baby in almost a week! Of course Abby managed to make her way into several of the images. It was fun and I can tell I'm going to have a blast photographing Esther and Ashley when she arrives :)

The Lord is our provider.

Today I experienced God at work in my life in such a humbling way. My mom came over to watch Abby for me while I went to a doctor appointment. She came through the door and handed me a piece of paper. It was an email she printed out from one of the teachers at her school. My mom said when she read it she cried. The email was sent to all the staff at her school. The woman who wrote the email said she found an opportunity to do something nice. She explained my health situation and the cost of this new medication (probiotics) I am on. They were looking to all chip in and be able to pay for a month supply of my medication! All I can say is, WOW GOD!

Another praise I have is something I found out at my doctor appointment. Results from blood work show that for the first time in over three years my liver enzymes have come down and are within normal limits. The doctor said he couldn't explain why they were up in the first place and now why the are back to normal, but was very pleased. What good news!

Psalm 34:1-4

I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.

My soul will boast in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.

Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
he delivered me from all my fears.
