Happy Birthday Tim
Yesterday was my brother's birthday and his first official day back from a week long mission trip with the youth (from our church) to the Bahamas. Tim and Bri went on the jet ski. We had some ice cream cake, which was more like soup since my parent's fridge has been on the frtiz and I played with my new camera and lens. I love photography, there is so much to keep learning, it never gets old to me.
Abby thought she was the one who was suppose to blow out the candles. We tried it twice and the second time counted to three, we got to two and poof. It was pretty funny!

Jess was a true champ letting Tim go away for the week. She's glad he's back :)

weekend away
Last weekend we photographed a wedding up in Saratoga, NY. My parents came and watched Abby and we all stayed the night in this cute little town. The next day we walked around, went to an art festival and just relaxed. Abby fed some duck that were a little too friendly. It was a good time
.

This one reminds us of Joey. Such a beggar. The duck practically took her fingers off for the cracker.

Another Girl!
We're very happy that everything looks great and right on track with baby #2. We didn't even make it out of the ultra sound screening room when Brian said, "now we have to pay for two weddings." Ha ha. The hardest thing about having another girl will be coming up with a name. We have NO idea. Abigail was the ONLY one we could agree on last time. This should be fun :)

Holiday weekend
We spent our 4th visiting Brian's family in Illinois for a family reunion. It rained all day Saturday, so we were inside most of the time, but luckily it let up enough to have some great fireworks that evening. Abby and I also got to experience something very new for us, tractors! Patti's cousin gave us a tour of his shed with all kinds of huge tractors, including a combine that Abby, Brian and I got to sit in it. We'll have to wait for Grandma James to get her film developed before we can show you that pic. Abby was all about seeing the tractors. I wonder if/when I will ever get Brian's family tree figured out. I'm not used to both sides of the family and every generation living within a ten mile radius of each other. It's very confusing, but very cool.
Abby loves her uncle Kevin. I have a picture of Brian and I from a while ago, Abby points to it and says, "mommy and Kevin".

Our view of corn all weekend.

Best weather we had was coming home.
