Time for and update
Now that I have an almost 6 week old and a 2 1/2 year old my time has been zapped. We are loving having Leah as part of our family. She has been a great baby. At her last baby well, last week, she was 9lbs 1oz and 21 inches. She is a good eater and sleeper. Although she will only sleep on her stomach, despite doctor's orders. Abby loves her sister, but cannot be left for once second on her own with her. The other day I stepped into the kitchen to get something and when I returned Abby had picked Leah up out of the swing and was holding her. Yikes!
Here are some pics over the past few weeks...
One of Abby's favorite Christmas gifts... her Disney princess costume box from my sister and her fam.
All the (Blankenship) grand kids finally together!

Michael's Baby Dedication
Sunday we celebrate Michael's dedication by going out to brunch with the family. Brian's parents have been visiting for the past week, so we had all kinds of family to celebrate with. It's been fun having them with us and staying cozy, warm inside while watching the snow fall.

Trying to get babies to cooperate for a photo. This was before Abby headbutted Leah. The first of many I'm sure. As my sister always says, "babies are resilient."

Abby meets her new sister
Abby was so excited to have a new baby sister. On Thursday, she didn't even take a nap because she was so wound up and due to new visitation restrictions at the hospital because of the swine flu, Abby had to wait two days until she could meet little Leah. But we finally got to come home today and Abby got to meet the new addition to the family. Here's some photos of their first day together...

Leah Noel Henderson
Baby Leah is finally here!! She arrived at 4:57 a.m. weighing in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and measuring 19 1/2 inches long. Mother and baby are both doing well and the entire experience this time was incredibly quick and smooth. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Here are a few shots of her first moments with us...

We will post more photos as we are able. Check back for more soon!
